Typical Work Year:  193 days - 183 days fall during the Academic Calendar for the school district, the additional 10 days are during the month of June to support Extended School Year (ESY).  The placement of the 10 days in June are scheduled by the end of January with the direct supervisor.

 

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Student Support Services Department and the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Interventionist provides behavior intervention support to students and staff in the implementation of behavior plans across district schools.  This position is 193 days - 183 days fall during the Academic Calendar for the school district, the additional 10 days are during the month of June to support Extended School Year (ESY).  The placement of the 10 days in June are scheduled by the end of January with the direct supervisor.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

 

 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree of related subject from accredited university.

 

EXPERIENCE: Experience working with behavior management and intervention systems is required.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: 

Registered Behavior Technician Certification is required for this position unless the individual is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.  Will be required to complete CPI training.
