SUMMARYResponsible for providing instruction, case management, and program and service development for students with hearing impairments.  As needed, develop accommodations and curriculum modifications, and ensure fidelity of their implementation. In collaboration with the general and special education staff, plan and deliver specialized instruction and assessment aligned with District learner outcomes and State achievement standards. Supervise assigned students and maintain a positive learning environment. Maintain positive interpersonal relationships with students, parents, staff and community members.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:  Minimum: Bachelor’s degree of related subject from accredited university.

 

EXPERIENCE:   Experience working with children with hearing impairments in a school setting preferred.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:  Colorado Teaching License with Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement.  Meet CDE and ESSA requirements for In-Field Teacher.  Complete CPI training upon hire.
