Pay Grade:  Student Service: Provider (Place same as a COTA)

Department: Student Support Services    

Prepared Date: July 9, 2021 

Typical Work Year:  183 days, plus 10 additional days of Extended School Year (ESY) programming during the summer.

 

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Student Support Services Department and the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Interventionist provides behavior intervention support to students and staff in the implementation of behavior plans across district schools.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

 

 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree of related subject from accredited university.

 

EXPERIENCE: Experience working with behavior management and intervention systems is required.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:  Registered Behavior Technician required.  Currently holds or is in the process of obtaining Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.  Alternatively, is in process of obtaining Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure.  Will be required to complete CPI training.
