| Description | Durango School Distirct 9-R is accepting applications for Seasonal Landscape Maintenance Workers, to work June 7, 2021 through August 16, 2021 or June 7, 2021 through August 31, 2021. This is an adjunct summer position.
90%:
- Mowing and trimming of District Campuses using a combination of riding mowers, push mowers, and string trimmers.
- Performing a documented daily check on the equipment to ensure equipment can be safely operated and escalating operational issues so they can be addressed
- Performing the grounds tasks, i.e., mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, weeding.
- Disposing of the waste
- Completing work orders to document work completed for the day
- Should mowing needs decrease due to water restrictions, duties will shift to other landscaping related needs.
10%
- Driving district truck as required
- Possibly moving equipment between sites
- Communicating the need for a repair of sprinkler heads
- Assisting with field striping as needed
