Durango School District 9-R is accepting applications for Extended School Year Paraprofessionals to support the ESY Summer Program. Tuesday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. June 22, 2021 - July 22, 2021. ESY will not be in session the week of July 5th.
SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Including but not limited to:
- Work all 12 days of the program
- Provide direct service to individual students.
- Assist teacher with various needs
- Support direct, small, and whole group instruction to students with disabilities.
- Perform other related duties as requested by the ESY Special Education Teacher.
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Be organized and able to multi-task
- Preferable: Experience working with student with significant needs
