Durango School District 9-R is recruiting Kids' Camp Aide substitutes to provide substitute coverage for the after school Kids Camp Program. Begins asap.
Upon accepting a support staff substitute position, you must also agree to be fingerprinted to meet employment requirements. In addition, a deduction of $22.50 will be taken from your first two paychecks, for a total of $45, to cover the cost of running a criminal background check off the fingerprints.
Requirements include:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication, basic language, basic math and basic writing skills.
- A minimum of two professional references. We do not accept family or friends as references.
Candidates must also have strong computer skills. Substitutes are required to navigate through an electronic system independently to accept and decline assignments; maintain their schedules; and view assignment instructions.
