Durango School District 9-R is accepting applications for Assistant Dance/Pom Coach at Durango High School. Responsibilities include assisting head coach in all aspects of the Dance/Pom program. Begins August 3, 2020.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid CHSAA Certification, or Colorado Teaching Certificate/License
- Fundamental knowledge of dance
- Experience working with related school aged athletes/students
- Ability to work as an integral part of the coaching staff
- Current medical injury treatment course work
- Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and exemplary manner at all times
- Ability to work positively and communicate effectively with coaches, staff, parents and administration
