Kids' Camp is Durango School District 9-R’s afterschool program for elementary students. The District is currently recruiting Kids' Camp substitute aides for the 2018-19 school year. Work hours are from 1 to 6 p.m Mondays and 2:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
  

• Experience working effectively with elementary school children.

• A minimum of two professional or academic references. Durango School District does not accept friends or family as references.

After being offered a substitute position, the candidate must also provide the Durango School District two sets of fingerprints for background checks. The district deducts $22.50 from the first two paychecks, for a total of $45, to cover the cost of running a criminal background check off the fingerprints.
