Durango High School is seeking a long term substitue for English for approximately twelve (12) weeks during the first semester of the 2017-2018 school year.
The rate for long term susbtituting is $170 per day beginning the day the substitute assumes the class.
Requirements include:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education license. A 3- or 5-year Colorado substitute authorization is also accepted. Contact Colorado Department of Education at http://www.cde.state.co.us/cdeprof to apply.
- Must be Highly Qualified in English
- Experience working with high school students in a classroom setting.
- Strong interpersonal communication, basic language, basic math, and basic writing skills.
- Minimum of two professional or academic references. We do not accept family or friends as references.
