The Durango School District 9-R is looking for substitute dishwashers for the 2017-18 school year. Please, review the following requirements before submitting your application.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic math, writing, communication, and accounting skills.
- Basic nutrition, safety and sanitation knowledge.
- Ability to interact positively with children.
- A minimum of two professional or academic references. We do not accept family or friends as references.
Operating knowledge of commercial food service is also desirable, but not required.
Often, assignments are posted in the early morning for the current day. Substitutes may get called as early as 5 a.m.
Upon accepting a substitute position, you must also agree to be fingerprinted to meet state requirements. In addition, a deduction of $22.50 will be taken from your first two paychecks, for a total of $45, to cover the cost of running a criminal background check off the fingerprints.
